        Brief bio: Jeff was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, attended Prince of Wales Collegiate, earned a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1992, then moved to British Columbia to pursue graduate school at UBC. Jeff and Irene met at MUN in the summer of 1990 and were reunited at UBC in 1992. They were married in St. John's in 1994. In 1995, Jeff left graduate school to work with the video game developer Digital Eclipse Software, Inc. which, through a series of mergers, became part of Foundation 9 Entertainment. There, Jeff ultimately held the position of Executive VP of Canadian Operations. (In 2000, Jeff completed an M.Sc. in Physics part-time at UBC while still working with DESI.) He now runs Code Mystics Inc.

        Brief bio: Irene was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, attended Fredericton High School, earned a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics (Biology) from the University of New Brunswick in 1991, then moved to British Columbia to pursue graduate school at UBC. Irene earned an M.Sc. in Physics in 1993, and a Ph.D. in 1998 in Medical Physics. Irene and Jeff met at Memorial University of Newfoundland in the summer of 1990 and were reunited at UBC in 1992. They were married in St. John's in 1994. Irene currently works in the Dept. of Radiology (MRI) at UBC Hospital as a Research Associate for the Radiology Research Group (affiliated with the UBC High Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging Centre), which investigates Multiple Sclerosis and other conditions. Irene's hobbies include Scottish Country and East Indian dancing.

         

        Zachary Vavasour

        Brief bio: Zachary was born to Jeff and Irene in Vancouver, British Columbia. Zachary's hobbies include running, swimming, music, skating and anything related to cars, superheros or bats. His favourite phrase is currently "you know what...?." and his favourite food is currently either chicken strips or hamburgers. You can email him, but don't expect a response for a few years yet.         Brief bio: Kyle was born to Jeff and Irene in Vancouver, British Columbia. His hobbies include climbing and an obsessive fascination with construction equipment. He loves singing, playing the piano, animals of all sorts, tidying, and his blankets. View his personal web page!

         

        Robert Vavasour

        Brief bio: Robert, St. John's, Newfoundland. Like Jeff and Gail, Robert attended Prince of Wales Collegiate though graduated from in 1969. Robert and Gail met in St. Thomas' Church choir. They were later married at the same church (as later were Jeff and Irene). Robert is a technophile. His hobbies include photography and working with computers. He still uses the family's inspirational TRS-80 Model I purchased back in 1977 (the second purchased in the province by someone who didn't work with the store that sold them). Like Jeff, the TRS-80 led Robert away from his original career (in accounting) to one of computer programming and system design/support. In July 2002, Robert, Gail and Herschel drove across Canada to their new home in Cloverdale, British Columbia.

         

        Gail Vavasour

        Brief bio: Gail, St. John's, Newfoundland. Like Jeff and Robert, Gail attended Prince of Wales Collegiate, graduating in 1966. Robert and Gail met in St. Thomas' Church choir. They were later married at the same church (as later were Jeff and Irene). Gail most recently worked as a legal secretary. She is not a technophile. Her main hobbies include crafts and bragging about Jeff, Zachary and Kyle. In July 2002, Robert, Gail and Herschel drove across Canada to their new home in Cloverdale, British Columbia.

         

        Herschel
           
        Brief bio: Herschel, 1/2" more than expected.) His mom was a Newfoundlander, his pop American. His name came from the British astronomer, Sir John Frederick William Herschel, whom Jeff was reading about at the time Herschel came to the family. He was a very intelligent dog that tried to persuade people he's actually "just a little person in a doggie suit", particularly when it came to meal time. Some of his siblings have entered politics. In July 2002, Robert, Gail and Herschel drove across Canada to their new home in Cloverdale, British Columbia. Herschel passed away on January 19, 2007, at 16 years.

         

        Shilo
           
        Brief bio: Shilo is Robert and British Columbia on October 11, 2006, and named after the สูตรบาคาร่าฟรี2023 ai. He joined Robert and Gail's household in February 2007 as an energetic and friendly pup that loves to chew things.
